Inea

Inea is one of the leading companies in the field of industrial automation, manufacturing intelligence, machine building, energy management, and smart grids. It was founded in 1987 as a Jozef Stefan Institute spin-off to expand the use of research achievements in the fields of industrial process control and energy management. Developed solutions are based on in-depth knowledge from continued R&D efforts and over 2 000 successfully carried out projects in over 30 countries on five continents.

Inea is still heavily involved in the Slovenian and European academic and industrial research community. They have an ongoing relationship with several research networks and consortia developing sustainable industries and communities under the core tenets of Industry 5.0.
