Dashboard for operation of the mixing loop

Aalborg Forsyning is making strides in energy efficiency and cost savings for tenants with their latest updates at the Fyrkildevej demonstration site. The goal is to decrease heating costs for tenants without compromising their comfort. One way they are achieving this is by adjusting the temperature of the district heating water based on demand. A pumping station, or mixing loop, allows for the supply of district heating to adapt to the actual demand of the tenants. This flexible district heating system is a glimpse into the future of sustainable energy usage.

Example of the dashboard showing the operation of the mixing loop – and indoor temperatures at the apartments.
